WONE SAGL and/or its subsidiary WONET FRANCE (hereinafter "Wonet") highly protect your privacy by securing and encrypting your communications using state-of-the-art encryption methods. All your communications, including voice and video calls and messages, are end-to-end encrypted and cannot be shared and viewed by us and anyone other than yourself and the intended recipients.
The end-to-end encryption process that we use to provide you with private and secure messaging and calling services (hereinafter the "Services") generates a private key (which remains with your own device) and a public key. We protect the public key by advanced technical means, which will soon evolve to the storage of the public key on the Ethereum blockchain using our proprietary and patented technology. This allows us to offer you the highest level of data security and privacy protection by preventing any unauthorized access of the public key by third parties or even by us.
We currently process and store the absolute minimum of personal data and always for the shortest possible period of time ("privacy by design") and will be evolving soon to near zero stored personal data. Our data storage technology imply that any personal data obtained through our Wonet App (hereinafter the "App") are always encrypted.
This Privacy Policy governs the way your personal data will be processed and protected by Wonet, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), where relevant.
Data you provide.

Account information: You need to provide a phone number when you register on the App. All other information (such as your name, or email address) is optional. Your phone number and any other information that you may voluntarily provide are always secured.

Messages content: All your messages are end-to-end encrypted and fully secured. We cannot decrypt or otherwise access the messages' content and do not store your messages except for delivery purposes, after which they are promptly deleted. Your message history is stored only on your own device.

Voice and Video Calls: All your voice and video calls are end-to-end encrypted and fully secured. We cannot decrypt nor have access to and do not store any of your voice or video calls.
4.
Contact: Upon your approval, we can inform you of your contacts who are Wonet users. The information that we collect to determine which of your contacts is a Wonet user is done with customer’s consent in a complete secured and private way for all users.
5.
User support: If you contact our user support team, we will respond to your support request by gathering minimal information about your connection, such as IP address, the technical issue necessary to answer the request and contact details. Support requests and related data are permanently deleted after a short period of inactivity.
6.
Cookies: If you are visiting our web site, we might use cookies to provide you with a better experience and improve the content of our web site. You can follow the instructions provided by your browser or device to modify your cookie settings. Certain parts of our web site may not work properly if you have disabled cookies.
Public keys storage.
As indicated above, all public keys used as part of the encryption process are stored and protected by advanced technical means based on an encryption protocol that will soon evolve to storage of the keys on the Ethereum Blockchain, ensuring no tampering with users' data.
Purpose and legal basis of data processing.
We process your personal data to enable the transmission of communications to their recipients and to provide you with user support upon request. We may additionally process your personal data on the basis of your consent or for compliance with a legal obligation. Finally, we may process your personal data for our legitimate interests, third party interests or public interests in special situations as indicated under the "data we may share" chapter.

Managing data: can manage your account information and personal data at any time through the App or by contacting us by e-mail or by postal mail using the contact details set forth below.

Rights on your data: You have the right to receive information about our processing of your personal data at any time. Likewise, you have the right to correct, block, port, or delete (save for our mandatory retention obligations) your personal data, as well as the right to restrict or object to the processing of your personal data at any time. If we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Please kindly note that failure to provide your phone number or objecting to the processing of your phone number will prevent us from delivering the Services.

Right to lodge a complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with our supervisory authority, the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or any other competent supervisory authority.
Data we may share:

Third Parties: We do not disclose your personal data to third parties except to a limited number of carefully selected and instructed third parties with which we are working to provide some of our Services, in particular third parties providing verification services. In that circumstance, we may disclose your personal data to those third parties for such Services. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies to safeguard such data.

Applicable law requirements: We may need to disclose some of your personal data if necessary to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.

Special requirements: We may also disclose your personal data in special situations where we have reason to believe that doing so is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone damaging, injuring, or interfering (intentionally or unintentionally) with our rights or property, users, or anyone else who could be harmed by such activities.

You can voluntarily link to external applications and web sites outside the Wonet App. These links are not under our control, and we cannot accept responsibility for the conduct of these companies.
